have your name, date of birth, SSN and current address ready. When it asks which reports you want, check all three: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

Keep your phone in hand
Each bureau texts you a code or a link to tap. Answer any security questions — “none of the above” is often correct.

Save each report as a PDF — right away
Leave the page without saving and the report is gone. Each bureau's save button looks like this:

TransUnion Save and Print button
TransUnion — tap Save & Print My Report
Experian print your report button
Experian — no download button. Tap Print your report, then switch the printer to Save as PDF
Computer: when the report opens, press Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on a Mac), choose Save as PDF as the printer, and click Save — it lands in your Downloads folder. If the report downloaded straight away, it's already in Downloads.
iPhone: when the print or share screen opens, tap Print, then pinch out (zoom in) on the preview with two fingers — that turns it into a PDF. Tap the share icon → Save to Files → Downloads. If the report downloaded straight away instead, find it in the Files app → Downloads.
Android: in the print window open the printer list and pick Save as PDF, then tap the save icon — it lands in your Downloads. Find it later in the Files or My Files app → Downloads. If the report downloaded straight away, pull down the notification or check Files → Downloads.
Then tap the red “Get your next report or finish” button (top right) for the next bureau. TransUnion sometimes doesn't send you back — reopen the site and repeat for the ones you still need. If a bureau says it "can't accept your request at this time", that one wants a mail request — still pull the other two and upload them below.
